Questions
Is it anonymous?
Nobody at your company can see one person's answers. Answers are saved without your name or ID and mixed together when the survey closes, so nobody, not Gists AI and not you, can tell which answers are yours. Gists AI keeps a separate note that you answered, only to stop your reminders and let you answer once. Your company never sees it.
Can Gists AI staff read my answers?
No. Answers are encrypted, and any staff access needs an audited, time-limited grant.
What if my team is small?
Results show only when 5 or more people answer. Below that, nobody sees results, not even your manager. A team under 5 is counted with the team above it.
Can I skip a question?
Yes, if it is marked optional. You can also skip a whole survey. Nobody is told.
Who can see who opened results?
HR keeps a log of who opened results.
Does Gists AI read my messages?
No. Gists AI never reads channels, conversations between people, or files. See every permission
How long are answers kept?
As long as your company uses Gists AI. If your company cancels or stops using Gists AI, its answers are deleted 30 days later, with everything else it has in Gists AI, and can never be read again. Backups clear within two weeks after that.
Can I download my data?
Yes. In Gists AI, choose Download my data, next to Delete all my data. You get your profile, settings, check-ins and which surveys were sent to you. Your survey answers aren't in it: they are stored without your name, so nobody can pick out yours, not even you.
Can I delete my answers?
Delete all my data removes your check-ins and anything made from them. It can't remove survey answers: they're saved without your name, so nobody can find which ones are yours.
Does AI learn from my answers?
No. When AI is on, written answers are summarized by Google Gemini, or the AI your company chose, and are never used to train AI.
